In this beginner-friendly class, we will walk you through the fundamentals of needlepoint so you can confidently start your first project. Whether you’ve never picked up a needle or just need a refresher, this class will teach you the essential skills every stitcher needs.

What You’ll Learn

• What needlepoint is and how it works
• How to read a needlepoint canvas
• Basic stitches (including the classic tent stitch)
• How to start and end threads
• How to properly tension your stitches
• Tips for choosing threads and fibers
• How to care for and finish your project

Each student will receive a Beginner Needlepoint Kit, which includes:
• Beginner needlepoint canvas with a Self-Finishing Leather Keyfob
• Needlepoint threads
• Needle, scissors, and needle threader
